Nyleth: "I have compiled the artistic projects of the Prime at his behest. "Art can be the quickest route to the image of soul" in his own words. The motivations behind the creation, the experience of manufacturing these artworks and the effect it had on his art journey are all aspects he wants to express in this section of the 'blog'. I personally don't understand why he draws so many women... Maybe he's a creep?"
[Mina] at gm_construct (08/29/25)
Mina is a hero from the hit MOBA Deadlock from Valve. When she released late 2025, I fell in love with her character design and wanted to paint her immediately. Sometimes I get wrapped up in my own infactuations, this took a lot out of me to make. I ended up staying up all night so I can print out a giant 3 foot by 4 foot poster of this at my previous job at Staples. Not a fun day of work but it was worth getting wound up in the passion of art. My favorite aspect of this piece is my testing of rendering techniques and involving light sources in the piece to add some dimensionality to the character. I do think that she still is bit off model, you can always improve. Although I had to work through a long "ugly" phase with this one and I had to make a breakthrough on how I visualized character designs and the curves that coincide with them. It would've made the piece look flat, strangely proportioned and uncanny if I didn't adjust my art style to be more accurate to the base model.
Hydroplaning Incident (05/09/26)
A lot of my drawings are based on my Tabletop RPGs player characters, theres usually a group artist for these things and I'm that person. Short sketches are a good way to keep the passion going, not every piece needs to be a fully rendered week long excursion.
Automatic Heated Backscratcher (01/23/26)
It became tradition when I made this one for me to make a piece for Deadlock whenever there is an update that adds characters. I was actually pretty early with this! I probably couldve gotten viral if I posted this fully rendered...
Armored Trinity (01/23/26)
I pushed myself to get out of my comfort zone for both posing and detail for this one. It took a lot of trial and error, even being slightly off was glaring. Not an easy drawing, burnt me out so I didn't go much further with the shading. I started straying away from using black line art after this. It requires more accuracy to appear acceptable than with either omitting line art or using colors. The next submission portrays it best.
